My Pricing.
My photo sessions generally last around 1-2 hours. I don’t set a time limit on the sessions so it enables you to relax. I think it’s important to take time to get the best shots. The session fee covers our initial consultation by phone or in person, the photo session, and production of online proofs for your review as well as a small print package. The print package includes two mounted 10 x 8 images, along with an unmounted 7 x 5 images of your choice.
No Pressure. No minimum order
Unlike many photographers there is no minimum order. This affords you the flexibility to purchase just the photos you want. I offer affordable professional printing, framing, canvas and album options, as well as packages. All the products are selected from top UK companies. What’s more, unlike many photographers, you will have the option to purchase a copy of the digital negatives from your session on DVD, so you can print them and share them as often as you like at no additional cost or license fee.
All of my products come with a no quibble guarantee – if you are not satisfied with the product, then you will get your money back.
My Fees
The Photo Session
Whether you are looking for a photo session indoors or on location, this is where it all starts. It’s also ideal for gifts. There are two available session fees: £55 or £100
Included within both sessions:
- A photo session lasting between 1-2 hours, including any setting up. If you need a bit longer, no worries, there is absolutely no hurry and I think its important to take our time to get things right.
- From the images taken a minimum of 20 images will be custom processed for uploading online to your own password protected gallery.
- The processed images are normally online with one week. I will send you an email as soon as they are online.
- For the £55 session: A voucher worth £40 to redeem against any products. This is enough for two 10″x8″ prints and one 7″x5″ print. You can also choose to use the voucher to part pay any larger products – it’s your choice.
- For the £100 session: A voucher worth £100 to redeem against any products. This means you are effectively getting a free session!
You can purchase the session for a gift by selecting the option above from the drop down box. Once paid for a voucher will be sent to the address of your choice. If you want to book a session for yourself, pay the £25 deposit using the deposit button and I will be in touch with you soon after to arrange a suitable date.
All my prices include initial consultation, the photo session and preparation of custom-corrected online proofs. Sessions are based indoors or on location within 25 miles of the EH22 (Dalkeith) post code. For sessions outwith this area an additional fee will apply. A £25 non-refundable deposit (which is applied towards the cost of the photo session) is required to reserve your session date.

Gift Vouchers
Gift Vouchers are a great way of giving your family and loved ones something that will give them a gift for life. A photograph provides memories that will last a lifetime.
Vouchers come in the following range of prices to cover all budgets and all come with a free photo session, so the full value of the voucher is what they have available to spend on products:
£100, £150, £200, £250
Terms & Conditions: Vouchers are valid for one year from date of purchase and can be used in exchange for goods/services above the value of the voucher on payment of the difference. Note that I cannot provide credit for goods/services bought below the value of the voucher. Iain King Photography will not accept any responsibilty for claims or liablilty resulting from the use of gift vouchers. (Note that there is a £1.90 charge for postage and packing for the voucher)
Booking & Contact Information
To book a session, please contact me using the contact form above or call me on 07738 870 645 detailing when you want your photo session to take place and any specifics about what it is you are looking for. I do ask that you pay a minimum £25 non refundable deposit to reserve your date. You can pay the deposit for your session using the button above. The remaining balance for your session is due in full on the day of the session. In the event that you needed to change the date, I’m happy to rearrange this without you losing your deposit.
